Domex Superfresh Growers is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join one of the most progressive teams in the industry as a full-stack developer to manage and expand our primary infrastructure in Python, Django/DRF, React.js, and MySQL. The ideal candidate is an individual who is able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

-THIS IS NOT A REMOTE JOB- MUST RESIDE IN THE AREA OF EMPLOYEMENT OR MOVE TO AREA OF EMPLOYEMENT BEFORE EMPLOYMENT COMMENNCES. -

Job Duties/ Responsibilities:

• Create innovative software solutions for both complex and every-day problems.
• Work with management and users to define project specifications.
• Integrate solutions with existing legacy backend systems
• Support existing production applications
• Working with the IT team to deliver the best solutions to our end users
• Ability to solve problems and identify areas of improvement
• Self-motivated and a great collaborator

Qualifications:

• An ability to work independently within a small fast-paced team
• Experience developing in Python, Django/DRF, React, and Javascript/ES6
• Comfort working in a Linux only development environment
• The ability to support multiple projects in production and development at all times
• A full-stack developer with a desire to expand a software platform that touches all areas of a vertically integrated operation
• Experience in the ever-changing world of produce ( a plus but not required)

Requirements

• Experience with Python, Django/DRF, React, and Javascript/ES6
• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Ability to write clean, reliable code that can be easily maintained
• Ability to adhere to and adopt existing practices for uniformity across our stack
• Knowledge of maintaining and debugging live software applications

Schedule

Monday through Friday 8 Hours a day, some weekends, and additional hours during peak times/needs.
