Leidos is looking for a Software Engineer with 0 to 1 year of experience to join a high performing agile team to support a nationally significant and fast-paced management programs. The Leidos team is focusing on full stack development of user interfaces, restful services, APIs, database scripting, AWS Cloud infrastructure, and integration of micro-services.
Primary Responsibilities
* The Software Engineer will be responsible for software development activities both individually and as a member of the an agile team.
* The Software Engineer will actively participate in program increment planning and related team activities.
* The individual will analyze and study complex system requirements, use design software tools, provide support using formal specifications, data flow diagrams, and other accepted design techniques.
* The individual will use Software Engineering principles and standards to ensure that developed code is modifiable, efficient, reliable, understandable, fault tolerant, modular and reusable.
* The individual will provide software process management and control throughout the coding portion of the software development process.
* Additionally, the individual will promote code reuse and cross-program collaboration while reducing maintenance costs by creating common functions and shared actions for developers and testers.
Basic Qualifications
* Bachelors' degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or similar technical discipline and 0 to 1 year of relevant work experience.
* Knowledge of, exposure and/or experience working with software design patterns and Web Application Development.
* Knowledge of, exposure and/or experience using some of the following Programming Languages and tools: HTML5, Java, JavaScript, Python, PHP, C++.
* Familiarity with one or more of the following Development Frameworks: React, Vue, Django, SpringBoot, NodeJS, Oracle, SQL.
* Self-motivated to learn and apply themselves to problem solving.
* Must be willing to obtain a TS/SCI with Polygraph.
* Must be able to commute to or is located in the Tucson area.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience developing front end user interface frameworks.
* Demonstrated experience planning and presenting user interface designs.
* Familiarity with Docker.
* Demonstrated experience with problem resolution to include organizing and structuring solutions to complex problems. This includes the ability to plan projects, meet objectives, develop contingencies, and produce schedules.
* Familiarity with working in an agile environment.
* Familiarity with GIT standards.
* Familiarity with working on Full Stack Development.

Pay Range:Pay Range $53,950.00 - $97,525.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
