The Software Engineer 2 standardizes the quality assurance procedure for software. Oversees software upgrades, enhancements, development and incident resolution. Researches complaints and makes necessary adjustments and/or recommendations to resolve complex software related issues. Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures during On Call rotations, escalating to level 3 staff or vendor as needed.

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay decisions will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$78,800 - $108,500 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.

Required Qualifications
- Our Department of Defense contract requires U.S. Citizenship
- Successfully receive interim approval for government security clearance (eQIP - Electronic Questionnaire for Investigation Processing
- Development with C# backend
- Agile/Scrum/Kanban related work environment familiarity
- Understanding of coding best practices i.e. Pipeline delivery (Azure DevOps/GitHub/Terraform or similar)
- Our Department of Defense contract requires U.S. Citizenship
- Successfully receive interim approval for government security clearance (eQIP - Electronic Questionnaire for Investigation Processing)
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in systems analysis or application programming development
- Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
