Software Development Technician

About the Role
In this position, the Software Development Technician in the Manufacturing Test Software Development organization will serve as both an entry-level software contributor as well as provide factory support on behalf of the team. They will be part of a cross-functional team that is creating our next-generation test platforms. They will be developing test packages that will verify product functionality and adherence to product specifications and production requirements and then provide support to our worldwide factories on those packages. What You Will Do

• Work with team members and production to develop test packages for customer products
• Provide support to production for those packages and customer products
• Coordinate test effort preparation and track requirements, schedules, and actions
• Validate customer Mfg test releases and debug issues.

What you Bring

• High school diploma or an Associate's degree in a technical discipline is a plus but not required
• 2+ years of technician experience
• Basic knowledge of computer architecture, networking, storage, etc.
• Test scripting experience is preferred
• Experience debugging hardware/software issues in a production environment
