Who are we looking for?

The Software Development Intern will work side by side with Product Management, Quality Assurance, Dev Ops and Operations teams. You are inquisitive by nature, maintain a professional temperament, and have the desire to learn in a corporate environment.

This is a 10-week program beginning June 5, 2024, and ending August. 16, 2024. This will be a part-time (up to 29 hours/week maximum) with the potential to go full-time in the future role.

What does this position pay?

The hourly compensation for this role is $20.00 for undergraduate students and $21.00 for graduate students.

What will you do?

• Participate as a member of the Software Development team and help with modification and creation of features within the Strand-Rx product.
• Follow 100% development practices through the life-cycle of the feature (design, document, develop, test, integrate, deploy).
• Integrate with the scrum team and take part in scrum ceremonies.
• Work with C#, Angular/Lit, and MySQL.

What education and experience do you need?

A combination of the following education and experience factors will be considered:

• Must be currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program or higher in CS, CE or related field
• Experience and knowledge of writing development requirements, designs, and coding in various program languages and support in test in the lifetime of a product
• Knowledge of multi-threaded applications and inter-process communication
• Prior work on Software Development projects and participation in code reviews
• High attention to detail and expertise problem solving skills
