About the Role:
If the idea making automated tests run fast with good coverage? Do you want to work with a team of talented and passionate engineers who care about quality and user satisfaction? If so, you might be the perfect fit for our Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) role!
- This position is a 100% remote U.S. based opportunity. Some travel for team meetings and training may be required. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide sponsorship at this time.
Key Responsibilities: (What you’ll be asked to do)
- Expanding upon our suite of 10,000 plus automated tests to increase our test coverage.
- Write code to improve the overall testability of our software (C#, Typescript)
- Assist our team of developers with unit testing.
- Perform API testing, security testing, performance testing & stress testing.
- Participate in detailed code reviews with fellow development team members. Develop new and improve upon existing processes in our current TestOps/DevOps environment.

- You can work independently or in a team-orientated environment.
- You’re the epitome of a tried-and-true technologist. When you’re not coding, you’re researching the latest technologies and self-learning platforms, listening to pod casts, or building your own robot.
- You are no stranger to the world of remote work.
Some Requirements:
- 4+ years of actual experience as an SDET or experience that would qualify you to perform this role (ie: previous experience as a C# developer or QA Analyst)
- 4+ years of experience in a fast-paced QA role.
- 2+ years C# & Typescript coding experience.
- Knowledge of QA methodologies.
- Web test automation experience.
- Experience in the property and casualty insurance space is a plus.
- Basic SQL reporting knowledge.
- Experience working in three or more different environments where you made significant contributions to the business.
Education:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field is a must.
Computer Skills:
- C#, Typescript, and SQL familiarity.
- We’re a MS Office environment (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience using video and chat technology (MSTeams & Slack).
