Job Description:
Software Development Engineer
A Software Engineer who will be responsible for developing as well as collaborating with a team of developers focused on Microsoft Azure technologies, including Databricks, .NET, Angular, etc.
Qualifications:
Educational Background: A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, software engineering, data science, or a related field is preferred.
Certifications: Relevant certifications can help demonstrate expertise in Microsoft Azure and related technologies. Consider certifications like Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, and others.
Technical Skills:
Microsoft Azure: Proficiency in Azure services, with a deep understanding of Azure Databricks, .NET development, Angular, and API development on Azure, and Azure DevOps.
Databricks: Expertise in creating and managing Databricks clusters, notebooks, and jobs for big data processing and analytics.
.NET Development: Strong knowledge of .NET development, including ASP.NET, .NET Core, and C# for building web applications and APIs.
Angular: Proficiency in developing web applications using Angular, including component-based architecture and reactive programming with RxJS.
API Development: Experience in designing and building RESTful APIs, understanding of API security, and API versioning.
Cloud Services Integration: Knowledge of integrating and working with various Azure services, such as Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, Azure SQL Database, and Azure App Service.
Containerization: Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration using Kubernetes or Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
DevOps: Familiarity with DevOps practices for continuous integration, continuous delivery (CI/CD), and automation of deployment pipelines.
Security: Strong understanding of security best practices, including data encryption, identity and access management (IAM), and threat detection in Azure.
Version Control: Proficiency in using Git, Azure Repos, and code version control systems for code management and collaboration.
Database Management: Skills in working with databases, including SQL and NoSQL databases, and database design.
Testing and Quality Assurance: Knowledge of testing frameworks, automated testing, and quality assurance processes.
Experience & Soft Skills
Extensive experience in Software Development, with a track record of delivering high-quality software solutions.
A solid background in working with Azure technologies, including Databricks, Azure DevOps, and Azure Resource Manager.
Proficiency in agile methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban, and working in an agile environment.
Ability to resolve conflicts within the team and ensure a positive and collaborative work environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with team members, stakeholders, and clients.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience in client interactions, understanding client requirements, and providing solutions.
Effective documentation and code commenting for maintainability and knowledge sharing.
A commitment to staying updated with the latest in Software development and related technologies.
