We are seeking a Software Development Engineer to become an integral part of our technical team. You will be responsible for independently creating and modifying computer application software and specialized utility programs. You will have opportunities to benefit from the continuing growth of our company.
Qualifications:
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Minimum 3 years previous experience and success in software and systems development
- Ability to be productive without close supervision
- Must exhibit mastery of Microsoft Visual Studio using C++ programming language
- Knowledge with relational databases such as MySQL, Oracle, and SQL Server
- Familiarity with web Software Development
- Knowledge of Unix/Linux desirable
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Must be eligible to obtain security clearance for federal government projects
Responsibilities:
- Report to VP of Software Development
- Quickly acquire working knowledge of existing Amgraf, Inc. software products
- Play a significant role in the enhancement of Amgraf, Inc. software products
- Analyze customer needs and develop software solutions
- Collaborate with other developers to design and optimize code
- Perform routine software maintenance
