The Enterprise Services Service Delivery, IT Service Management organization has an immediate need for a Software Development Analyst to develop service solutions in the ServiceNow platform. This includes creating new items and modifying current infrastructure with little impact to the production environment. The candidate should be familiar with SAFe Agile practices and the IT Service Management module in ServiceNow.
The candidate should possess strong customer service skills for interfacing with stakeholders, helping to refine requirements to meet business needs, design solutions, develop and implement features. They should be flexible with working in a dynamic environment with changing priorities. This role will coordinate with service and process workflow owners across a wide variety of services to determine requirements and drive best practice scenarios. The deliverables produced in this role enable self-service solutions in line with the company's strategic goals, resulting in customer satisfaction, time, and cost savings.
This position will be virtual remote and can be performed anywhere within the continental United States.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or relevant discipline with 2 years of relevant experience OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or relevant discipline
Demonstrated adherence to Agile methodologies
Experience with HTML and JavaScript
Experience with defining user stories and ensuring stories comply with the SAFe Agile definition of done
A strong commitment and ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
Experience in release, unit, and user acceptance testing
Experience in managing backlog items in ITBM or Azure DevOps
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with the Automated Testing Framework (ATF) and developing test scripts
Experience in Program Increment (PI) planning including defining PI Objectives as part of an Agile team
Experience working with internal customers
Experience developing with flow designer in ServiceNow
Experience with the Automated Testing Framework (ATF) and developing scripts
Agile/DevOps experience with Scrum Master and Product Ownership experience a plus
Demonstrated problem solving and decision-making skills
