In the Data Center Technologies (DCT) Business Area, we are industry leaders in energy efficient cooling for the rapidly growing data center industry.
This position is part of the DCT digital team. As a Developer, you will be responsible for creating applications using a low-code/no-code platform. While a background in software development is preferred, candidates with experience in IT, Operations, or similar fields with a strong desire to learn and improve their programming skills are encouraged. The ideal candidate will have basic software development skills, preferably with a background in web development. While prior engineering experience is not required, the candidate should possess knowledge of at least one mainstream programming language.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, and deploy applications using the Low Code No Code platform.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and documentation.
- Understand and analyze processes, identify areas for improvement, and propose innovative digital solutions.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving application defects and issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Actively participate in training and self-development activities to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Good understanding of software development principles and practices.
- Proficiency in at least one mainstream programming language, for example: JavaScript, Python, Java, or C#/.NET.
- Familiarity with web development concepts, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Basic knowledge about data modelling and SQL databases.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- 10% - 20% travel may be required.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred but not required).
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Sedentary work: exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. This work requires sitting most of the time.
- The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
