Description
Perform software development for microservices throughout Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) in Vehicle Domain Modernization team. Develop and integrate applications and optimize 8-factor microservices for GM myBrand applications ensuring Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (Cl/CD), build, integration, and delivery, in Spring framework. Design, develop, debug, troubleshoot, and update Representational State Transfer (REST) and SOAP web services Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) in Java/J2EE programming languages, using Spring Boot, Kubernetes, Apache Kafka, Java Persistence API (JPA), Hibernate, Oracle Database tools in Spring framework, and web-based applications including Microservices Architecture (MSA), using Java 8 and Java 11, following Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). Use Azure DevOps (ADO) to deploy MSA applications in Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) using HashiCorp vault and Jenkins tools. Support external Business to Business (B2B) and Business to Customer (B2C) clients to connect to vehicle infotainment systems and read vehicle related diagnostics information, and perform remote vehicle services including Remote Start Stop, Lock/Unlock, Crash Detection. Perform unit and functional testing of microservices using JUnit and Cucumber frameworks, and ReadyAPl and Insomnia tools.
Additional Description
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related. Sixty months' experience as Engineer, Developer, Programmer, Consultant, or related. Must also have experience with developing applications, and integrating application with new applications, and using Java/J2EE technologies such as Spring, Spring Boot, SOAP, RESTful web services, and microservices.
