Your impact:

As a Software Developer, you'll be responsible for enhancing, maintaining, and supporting our cutting-edge systems. Join our dynamic Software Development group and work alongside talented individuals who are dedicated to developing, implementing, and maintaining computer-based information systems.

Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to prepare documentation for unit test results and actively support user acceptance testing activities, including root cause analysis, code deployment, and utility/batch job execution. Your contribution to cross-functional project teams and committees will be invaluable in driving our organization forward.

Hybrid availability 2 days in-office preferred.

Are you our ideal candidate?

Education: Associate degree or equivalent. Bachelor's degree preferred.

Experience: 2+ years of application or script development expertise.

Front-End Proficiency: Experience with MVC pattern and responsive web design. Strong knowledge of JavaScript, CSS3, and HTML5. Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks, particularly Angular, is a plus.

Java Jedi: Mastery in Java/J2EE and REST, including building and supporting enterprise-scale web services. Understanding of SOA/microservices concepts. Bonus points for TypeScript knowledge.

Database Dynamo: Proficient in SQL, data modeling, and database development and maintenance. Experience with DB2, SQL Server, and familiarity with Postgres and Redshift is desirable.

Versatility Matters: Exposure to mid-range or mainframe systems like AS400/i5OS, OS390/MVS, Unix/AIX, iSeries, zSeries.

Framework Familiarity: Knowledge of STRUTS 2.0, Spring Boot Web Services, and JDK 1.8 web framework. Familiarity with AJAX, XML/JSON/HTTP for existing system support.

Agile Aficionado: Awareness of Agile Sprint software development methodology. Proficiency in using tools like Jira and Confluence.

Automation Advocate: Familiarity with software delivery pipelines and testing frameworks, with a passion for enhancing current automation tools like Jenkins, Selenium, BrowserStack, JUnit, Vericode, etc.

Cloud Connoisseur: Understanding of cloud-based solutions design.
