Description

  • Perform software development for microservices in Java and J2EE programming languages, using Spring Boot, Git, Jenkins, Kafka, Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF), and Hadoop tools, throughout Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) in Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) Data and Connected Services team, providing Back Office microservices engineering support for Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) Compute Platform in Ultra Cruise Ultifi platform.
  • Use Team Foundation Server (TFS) and BitBucket to deploy MSA applications and support external Business to Business (B2B) and Business to Customer (B2C) clients to connect to passenger vehicle infotainment systems and read vehicle related diagnostics information, and perform remote vehicle services of events including Remote Start Stop, Lock/Unlock, and Crash Detection events.
  • Engineer, optimize and bootstrap 30-factor microservices ensuring Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD, build, and delivery, in Spring framework.
  • Design and debug Representational State Transfer (REST) and SOAP web service Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) in Java/J2EE programming languages.

Additional Description

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or related field, and five (5) years of experience as a Developer, Engineer, Systems Analyst, Tech Lead, or related role.
  • Must also have experience with: performing software development for microservices in Java and J2EE programming languages, using Spring Boot, Git, and Jenkins tools, throughout Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
