Software Architect, Advisory
Required skillset/qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent education in a related discipline is desired; equivalent, relevant work experience may be substituted for degree
- 12+ years of professional software development experience in building enterprise software
- Minimum 8 years of high-quality software development, principally in C++ and C, related to character recognition and image quality analysis of check images
- Experience in a variety of image formats, compression algorithms, file formats, image manipulation techniques and check codelines
- Basic understanding of statistics as used in digital image processing
- Familiarity with check processing, particularly remote deposit capture, proof of deposit and image statements
- Product cycle experience - from inception to delivery
- Team player and great collaborator, also self-motivated and able to work independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- C++/C Development Experience with unit test automation.
- Visual Studio 2017/2022
- Azure Fundamentals certification
- 2+ year experience building Java/J2EE, Angular, Spring Boot and Spring Framework
- Github, Jenkins, Maven
- Security scans FOP, Sonatype and Web Inspect (preferably Micro focus Fortify tools) and remediations.
- Microsoft Operating Systems - Windows 7-10, Windows Server 2016 - 2022
- Database systems experience, primarily DB2/SQL Server and experience with ODBC
- Image Processing experience
- Android or iOS development skills to support 3rd party SDK for mobile app development.
- Approachability for impromptu development support need to production issues.
- Ability and aptitude to quickly navigate, explore and resolve issues across area of code across product suite
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum software development methodology
Below additional skills are plus :
- Experience with IBM Open Class Library
- Financial Services industry experience
- Struts /EJBs/JSPs/Yahoo UI/ExtJS/BIRT Reporting framework
