UNI Healthcare is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker with a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree. You will play a role in providing counseling and support to individuals in a detention facility setting
Pay: $60 to $65 an hour
Shift: 8 hours or 12 hours

Responsibilities:
1. Conduct psychosocial assessments to identify the needs and strengths of individuals in the detention facility.
2. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address mental health, substance abuse, and social issues.
3. Provide counseling and support services to detainees, addressing their emotional and behavioral challenges.
4. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for detainees.
5. Advocate for the rights and well-being of detainees, serving as a liaison between them and the facility administration.
6. Facilitate group therapy sessions and educational programs to promote personal growth and rehabilitation.
7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all interactions and interventions.
Qualifications:
1. Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from an accredited institution.
2. Current state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or license-eligible.
3. Experience working with individuals involved in the criminal justice system is preferred.
4. Strong understanding of trauma-informed care and evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to work effectively in a challenging and dynamic environment.
