Located near I-270 in Florissant, Missouri, McCluer High School is home to 1097 students. BASIC REQUIREMENTS
- Must have a valid Missouri teaching certificate in Socual Studies Teacher grade 9-12
- Master's Degree Preferred
- Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity, interest, and abilities of students.
- Guide the learning process toward the achievement of established District curriculum goals, establish and communicate clear objectives to the students for all lessons, units and projects.
- Employ a variety of instructional techniques and instructional media.
- Assess the accomplishments of students on a regular basis, provide progress reports as required, and communicated with parents as deemed necessary.
- Maintain accurate, complete and correct records as required by law, District policy, and administration regulations.
- Develop a code of conduct for the classroom, which is consistent with established Discipline Code of the District and the assigned building. Develop rules of classroom behavior, which are enforced in a fair and just manner.
- Maintain good attendance.
