What does a Social Service Specialistdo?
- Conducts intakes, program orientations, and psycho-social assessments with families.
- Facilitates the development and implementation of Plans of Care.
- Provides family education and linkages to needed resources.
- Facilitates transition to alternative programs.
- Manages children’s records.
What are the requirements?
- Bachelor’s Degree in social work, psychology or a related field
- 1-3 years of social service/case management experience including working with individuals who have developmental disabilities
