Social Service Manager

St. Vincent De Paul in Redmond is looking for a talented Social Service Manager to provide rent and utility assistance to those in need in the Redmond area. Candidate must be personable and organized. Must be able to work within a budget and follow policies and procedures. Management experience is required. The ideal candidate would have experience directing volunteers, grant writing, and fund raising.

Social Service Duties:

Conduct client interviews for assistance
Monitor spending and insure we are within budget guidelines
Record assistance transactions and maintain daily expense spreadsheet
Keep confidential records
Maintain good communication and relationship with partner agencies
Follow up on existing grants and insure we meet all grantor requirements
Maintain good donor relations
Send acknowledgments and “Thank You” letters to donors
Post events to social media
Communicate with web host to keep the organization website up to date
Manages information systems and data tracking
Complete monthly and yearly statistics reports

Volunteer Coordination:

Handles new volunteer intakes and documentation such as volunteer applications and background checks
Coordinates placement of volunteers
Provides training of volunteers and staff; Civil Rights, Food Handler Cards, ect.
Insures staff and volunteers follow internal policies
Supervises Social Service volunteers (front desk, interviewers, home visitation volunteers)
Conducts monthly volunteer meetings
Address volunteer personnel issues
Maintains volunteer database
Submits time sheets to special program volunteer agencies
Completes monthly and yearly volunteer reports

Requirements:
Minimum 2 years management experience
Good interpersonal skills
Can work within a budget
Computer skills – Word, Excel, Data Entry
Organized
Self-Motivated

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,273.64 - $54,523.10 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
