Job Description:

National Day Calendar is on the lookout for a proactive and passionate Partnerships and Social Media Technician to play a pivotal role in our 2024 business initiatives. As we aim to establish influential partnerships and launch the innovative Celebration Nation platform, your mission will be to support these projects and amplify our message through compelling Social Media strategies with current Social Media staff. Key Responsibilities:
Support for Official Product/Destination Partnerships:

· Assist in identifying and engaging potential business partners for National Day Calendar.

· Help manage and maintain relationships with partners, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration.

· Support the coordination of marketing materials and campaigns related to partnerships.

· Contribute to the creative use of the official seal in partner advertising and packaging.

Assistance with Celebration Nation Platform:

· Provide support in the development and launch of Celebration Nation, contributing ideas and feedback.

· Help drive subscriber growth and engagement through targeted strategies and initiatives.

· Assist in creating and curating content, resources, and events for the platform.

Social Media Technician:

· Develop and implement Social Media strategies to promote National Day Calendar, our partners, and the Celebration Nation platform.

· Create engaging, brand-aligned content across various Social Media platforms.

· Monitor Social Media trends and analytics to guide strategy adjustments and report on performance.

· Engage with our online community, fostering a vibrant and interactive environment.

Administrative:

· Learn and assist with daily operations of the business, which includes Awesome Computer Repair and Zoovio, Inc.

· Answer telephone and assist customers and/or direct calls to appropriate individuals.

· Become proficient in storefront procedures, including greeting and assisting customers.

· Become proficient in mailing system, including online store.

· Create presentations, slide decks, various marketing materials, and briefs for projects as directed.

· Assist with planning special events.

· Protect operations by keeping information confidential.

· Assist with preparation of outgoing mail orders and daily shipping duties.

· Research data, information, and other inquiries when asked.

· Other duties as assigned, including taking direction from all management staff.

Qualifications:

· Demonstrable experience in Social Media management, partnership coordination, or related fields.

· Strong understanding of Social Media platforms, trends, and analytics.

· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to craft compelling messages.

· A creative and innovative mindset, with a knack for problem-solving and thinking outside the box.

· Reliable, self-motivated, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.

· Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

· Google Drive, including Google Calendar and Docs

· Word processing software

· Basic email client skills

· Additional skills in websites design skills and design programs are appreciated.

Office Hours: 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Pay: $17.35 - $20.90 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
