JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Social Media Marketing Manager is responsible for overseeing organic and paid marketing strategy for all boutique and lifestyle properties - both branded and independent. Engages with Marketing/eCommerce team, corporate, regional and hotel stakeholders to support business requirements.

  • Develop relationships with local like-minded businesses to create meaningful partnerships. Interact and build relationships to generate brand awareness and engagement
  • Plan, execute, and oversee social campaigns across various channels. Collaborate with creative teams to develop compelling content and visuals that resonate with the target audience.
  • Manage budgets, allocate resources efficiently, and optimize spending for maximum ROI
  • Assist with creating and updating property marketing calendars
  • Concept and help execute programming events for the property and food & beverage outlets
  • Create and direct brand development, across social platforms
  • Manage agency partnerships across hotel portfolio
  • Identify and vet new ideas and guest experiences, and work with operations team for rollout
  • Direct and manage community relations strategy including community partnerships and Board relationships
  • Develop and implement annual strategic marketing plan, including paid sponsored boosting on Social channels
  • Research, identify and capitalize on new social and digital opportunities
  • Create internal communication presentations for stakeholders
  • Manage creative campaign development and production
  • Operational support and collateral management as needed
  • Performs any other job related duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Hotel Administration, Business, or Marketing
  • Minimum of five (5) years in hotel or conference Catering/Sales
