INTERNSHIP SUMMARY:
The Social Media Marketing Intern position will work closely with the Marketing Team for Cordish Living, overseeing One Cardinal Way as well as additional Cordish Living communities. Our interns have the opportunity to gain incredible insight into the digital marketing field while simultaneously getting valuable experience in the multifamily industry in a fun, upbeat environment.
ACCOUNTABILITES:
- Create and distribute email marketing to help promote events to residents
- Create and distribute email marketing campaigns to prospective residents
- Assist on-site teams as needed with projects pertaining to marketing, media and resident events
- Assist with day-to-day activities as needed
- Social Media Marketing
- Work closely with Marketing and Communications Specialist
- Schedule content on Social Media and build content calendars
- Own Social Media projects such as Tour Tuesday’s, holidays, Pet of the Month, etc.
- Update weekly to-do lists for social
- Create a variety of content to promote new prospects
- Lifestyle content from events, Apartment content, etc.
- Coordinate contests, giveaways as needed
- Serve as extension of customer service via Social Media
REQUIREMENTS:
- Available to work a part-time schedule, 20-hours per week
- Available to work flexible hours including holidays, weekends and evenings (depending on schedule of events)
- Must be a Junior or Senior in college majoring in marketing, journalism, communications, PR or related field
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office; Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator a plus
- Experience with YouTube, and various Social Media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.
- Must have good communication skills and work well in team setting and independently
- Must be self-motivated
- Must be organized, independent and be able to multitask
