Social Media & Digital Communications Specialist 6-month Contract Boston, MA
Fully on site: Monday- Friday 9:00am- 5:00pm
Contract up to 6 months
Pay: $30.36 an hour
The Social Media & Digital Communications Specialist is responsible for Social Media and digital campaigns and the day-to-day management of the clients Social Media accounts and website analytics with the goals of increasing the organization's visibility, reputation, online communities, and audience engagement and conversion. This role is about sparking and sustaining conversation and growing a committed community.
Roles/ Responsibilities:
75% work week managing Social Media - 25% videography
Contribute to the strategy and planning for Social Media campaigns
Coordinate Social Media activities, including the gathering of content/assets, with integrated multichannel campaigns and initiatives
Develop Social Media content calendars for campaigns, initiatives, program priorities, and ad hoc needs and requests
Grow community and engagement by following, commenting, sharing, retweeting, and otherwise engaging with influencers, partners, and various constituents/accounts
Write, edit, and proofread content/posts in the ABCD brand voice and supporting key messages
Take photos, shoot videos, and edit both as appropriate for Social Media and digital channels
Schedule/post content including graphics, images, and videos/links
Monitor and report on Social Media insights and analytics on a weekly basis
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree- marketing, communications, media or related field
Bilingual
Minimum of 1 to 3 years' experience creating successful online content and Social Media experience
Knowledge of common industry tools (HootSuite, Google Analytics, photo & video editing apps, etc.)
Superior written and verbal skills
Photography and videography proficiency, including editing for social and digital channels
