The Opportunity

The Aeroflow Urology marketing team develops and executes on our detailed marketing strategy, focused on lead generation and brand awareness across multiple channels including email, Social Media, influencer marketing, content creation, SEO, PR, and more.

Your Primary Responsibilities

We are currently seeking a Social Media Assistant. The Social Media Assistant is typically responsible for:

• Social Media Marketing
  • In partnership with the Senior Social Strategist, build and execute Social Media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification
  • Curate, edit, and organize imagery and/or short videos for use across social, blog, and email campaigns
  • Assist in creation of UGC content for use across social and other marketing channels
  • Manage and engage with conversations on Social Media including but not limited to paid and organic social comments, direct messages, community groups, and reviews (social pages, Google, etc) —i.e., community management
  • Work with the Sr. Social Strategist to continuously improve social content by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on those insights
  • Brainstorm and facilitate test campaigns and content to drive increased engagement across social platforms
  • Help to identify and launch new Social Media channels
  • Monitor Social Media, news, and blogs for trending topics and engagement opportunities
  • Ensure that brand standards and guidelines are adhered to in the development of all Social Media communication
• Influencer Marketing
  • In partnership with the Sr. Social Strategist, identify on-brand and compelling Influencer partnerships that will drive brand awareness and engagement for Aeroflow Urology
  • Support Sr. Social Media Specialist in all aspects of influencer marketing
  • Manage Brand engagement on sponsored influencer posts
  • Share and organize influencer assets for performance marketing team
• Additional marketing efforts as needed such as content creation, project management, etc.

Skills for Success

• Understanding of how brands should participate in Social Media authentically.
• The candidate is culturally sensitive to the latest trends; understands the internet, social and meme culture, and how to work within it while maintaining brand safety.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate clearly with various departments including graphic design, development and advertising, as well as vendors, contractors and freelancers.
• Project management experience and time-management skills for juggling numerous time-sensitive projects simultaneously. Must be detail oriented and a highly organized individual.
• Self-organized, with the ability to multitask and manage time wisely
• Have initiative, passion, resourcefulness, self-motivation, and a high level of ownership
• Maintain HIPAA/patient confidentiality

Required Qualifications

• 4 year degree in marketing, communications, or related field
• Experience in Social Media and influencer marketing, including working with Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest and LinkedIn. Ideal candidate will use and create on Social Media daily.
• Experience in Canva or similar design tool
• Familiarity with Sprout, Hootsuite, or similar Social Media tool is preferred
• Employee has an individual responsibility for knowledge of and compliance with laws, regulations, and policies. Compliance is a condition of employment and is considered an element of job performance

What we look for

A key member of the Marketing team, the Social Media Assistant will be the voice of Aeroflow Urology to our target audience across multiple Social Media platforms. This position works closely with the Senior Social Strategist and is responsible for managing our Brand voice and community engagement across all Social Media accounts - Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and YouTube.

Qualified candidates must display a strong functional knowledge of Social Media principles and practices and a love for Brand. Salary Range: $40,000 - $45,000 base salary
