Social Content Marketing Coordinator

Gateway Dealer Network (GDN) is seeking a Marketing & Social Media Coordinator to join our Marketing team to assist the Marketing Dept., Sales and the company in supporting social media initiatives and marketing strategies for a growing 32+ construction and agricultural equipment dealership network. In this collaborative role, you will be responsible for executing monthly, weekly, daily social media schedules and content, coordinating video and photography library and execution, and support a variety of traditional marketing programs across all brands and channels.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Primary point of contact for social media accounts, messaging/interactions and distributing website and various other sales leads.
• Collaborate closely with branches and departments to develop and create unique, entertaining and relevant content including videos, blog posts, and infographics.
• Create and manage social media calendar to support company initiatives, marketing campaigns and community goodwill.
• Create and edit copy for various marketing channels, ensuring consistent voice and brand messaging.
• Plan, execute, and track short and long-term marketing programs and campaigns.
• Assist in planning and managing conferences, events, and meetings by identifying, coordinating, and assembling requirements, developing assignments and schedules.
• Maintain an inventory of sales support materials making sure all resources are accurate and current while coordinating new material creation as needed.
• Initiating and carrying out assignments accurately and independently.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

This position requires the ability to operate equipment from time to time – no previous experience or certifications are required.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

Location – South Territory, Nashville metro area, Tennessee

This is a full-time, potentially hybrid position. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., 40 hours per week.

Travel - less than 10% overnight travel throughout the (32+) locations is expected.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Demonstrated experience with Social Media Management platforms and strong understanding of individual social sites including but not limited to Instagram, X, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other social media platforms.
• Attention to detail and strong computer and social media literacy skills.
• Proficient in Adobe Suite, especially video creation/editing
• Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Adobe and Social Platform management software.
• An eye for design with basic understanding of creative and artwork development.
• Quick and efficient writing, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Bilingual skills are a plus, specifically Spanish.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Education & Experience

• 1-3 years of experience in social marketing role or 2-5 years commensurate work experience (required)
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent certifications in progressive social media management
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish (preferred).
• Proficient in the utilization of social media platforms (required).
• Experience in creating content for social media platforms - Graphic design and video editing skills (required).
• Must be comfortable working on an active construction site around heavy equipment and machinery.
• The ability to problem-solve with limited information.
• High level of interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
