Soccer Age Group Director

The Player Progression Academy (PPA) is the fastest growing youth sports organization in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. Our mission is creating great experiences and holistic development through sports. Our Academy manages a variety of athletic programs and athletic events for youth players throughout the year - including over 200 teams, 3,500 players, 4 leagues, and 70 trained coaches. We are respected for having a highly decorated staff of coaches and professionals who apply passion, creativity, and excitement to our programs.PPA is looking for enthusiastic, attentive Age Group Directors to assist running our Premier soccer program. The Age Group Director will be responsible for creating and maintaining a high quality experience for the players and parents in their age group (U13 and older) throughout the season.  The ideal candidate is positive, proactive, and caring while focused on giving players in their league a competitive, fun and , safe sporting experience. To succeed as an Age Group Director, you should be upbeat, decisive, and responsible. You should also be organized and possess strong communication skills. Age Group Directors will be evaluated throughout the season and provided with feedback about their performance. 

Responsibilities & Duties: 

• Manage Parent/Player Coach experience
• Grow the program to have teams through U18
• Create a pathway to college/pro level
• Work with U11/U12 age group directors to solidify a pipeline
• Rebrand the older age group to be the most competitive club in the area

Age Group Director Requirements:

• Experience with the College recruiting process.
• Experience working with children, as a coach, or with specific activities may be preferred.
• Physical ability to participate in activities, run, play soccer, lift, or support the weight of children.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• High level of responsibility and accountability.
• Upbeat, engaging personality.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
