SOC Analyst - Entry Level
PhishNet Security is seeking an Entry-Level SOC Analyst to join our dedicated team onsite. This role is ideal for individuals with 0-2 years of experience in security analysis or a related field, who are eager to begin their career in the world of cybersecurity.
Requirements:
· 0-2 years of experience in security analysis, incident handling/response, or security engineering.
· Basic understanding of security methodologies and processes.
· Familiarity with technical security solutions like firewalls, SIEM, and endpoint security.
· Some knowledge of network protocols and security applications.
· Awareness of common malware threats and attack methods.
· Good interpersonal communication skills in English.
Key Responsibilities:
· Collaborate with the team to detect and respond to security incidents.
· Monitor, research, classify, and analyze security events on the network and endpoints.
· Gain an understanding of network and endpoint security, current threats, and security principles.
· Assist in reviewing vulnerability scan results and support remediation efforts.
· Contribute to handling security incidents and improving defense tools.
· Participate in deploying new products and tools to enhance the team's capabilities.
· Help maintain existing security-related infrastructure.
