We are currently seeking an SMT Supervisorto bolster our already strong team. In this role you will Coordinates and oversees activities of the SMT Staff to provide a safe working environment, produce high quality product, and meet production requirements.
This work and team are primarily in the office at our Headquarters in Racine, WI.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in production of LED PCBAs
- Coordinates LED PCBA production that meet or exceed all engineering, approval agency, and customer requirements
- Studies production schedules and estimates worker hour requirements for completion of job assignment. Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules
- Interprets specifications, blueprints, and work orders to workers, and assigns duties
- Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product
- Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crew
- Analyzes and resolves work problem, or assists workers in solving work problems. Inspects Products to verify conformance to specifications and directs set up and adjustments of machines
- Maintains time and production records. Prepares daily and weekly productivity and downtime reports
- Estimates, requisitions, and inspects materials
- Confers with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments
- Maintains knowledge of products built in assigned area. Identifies and requests necessary fixturing to improve assembly
- Follows established safety programs and maintains knowledge of safe working practices. Accountable for subordinates following safety programs
- Provides counseling, disciplinary actions, and performance reviews for employees. Maintains performance and behavioral measurements of employees. Maintains harmony among workers and resolves grievances. Resolves safety issues
- Identifies and satisfies the training needs of employees
- Issues written and oral instructions. Studies and standardizes work procedures to improve accuracy and conformance
- Directly supervises employees in the SMT Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
- Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
While SMT experience is not required, the successful candidate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. We are currently seeking a Production Supervisor to bolster an already strong team! The supervisor position is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the daily activities of Assembly staff to provide a safe working environment, produce high quality product, and meet production requirements by performing the below duties.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in assembling parts or assembles into units.
- Coordinates production of products that meet or exceed all engineering, approval agency, and customer requirements.
- Studies production schedules and estimates worker hour requirements for completion of job assignment. Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- 3-5 years of Experience manufacturing experience
