NEOTech is hiring a SMT Programmer III. This is an onsite position and is based in the the Fremont, CA location.
Pay Range: $19.87 - $29.81 per hour. (Wage to be determined by the experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities)
Summary
Perform implementation duties relating to product and process support, as related to implementation of programming placement and inspection systems. Work with production to establish requirements for programs. Keeps all equipment in 100% working condition in support of production requirements. Support preventive maintenance schedule and equipment calibration to be performed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop/ Maintain programs for SMT machines.
- Assist engineer technicians with development of manufacturing work instructions.
- Communicate both written and verbal with customers and associates.
- Interpret specifications, drawings, and engineering instructions.
- Review Quality data and implement process improvements.
- Adhere to all ESD and Board handling.
- Use of Moisture Sensitive Device (MSD) handling requirements based on component Moisture Sensitive Levels (MSL).
- Comply with all in-house training as identified in job specific family and or specific training plan.
- Support all corporate and site 6S objectives.
- Perform all other duties, as assigned.
Job Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Minimum 5 years' in SMT machines
- Must be a team player and highly motivated.
- Flexibility and ability to manage multiple and competing priorities.
- Ability to prioritize and perform high level serial tasking.
- Basic mechanical drawing skills.
- Ability to diagnose/troubleshoot.
- Ability to interpret specifications and schematics as necessary.
- Effective communication skills.
- Familiar with applicable ISO and IPC-A-610 standards.
- Pass IPC-A-610 all modules tests of workmanship standards.
- Demonstrate to the satisfaction of a company subject matter expert or auditor the ability to do the requirements of the job.
- Must demonstrate ability to comprehend and read work instructions provided in English.
