Job Summary
Are you a data-driven marketer looking to own and scale a high growth channel at a fast-growing ecommerce company?
We're seeking an experienced SMS & Mobile Marketing Manager to join our performance marketing team. This is an exciting opportunity to define the vision for our SMS and app marketing campaigns across all lifecycle stages, from acquisition to retention to reengagement. You'll manage over 1 million subscribers and app users as we expand efforts both at home in the US and internationally.

What You'll Do
  • Establish and execute the SMS, push, and in-app marketing strategy & roadmap
  • Develop engaging copy and content for SMS, push, and in-app marketing campaigns, monitoring results and regularly A/B testing for clear best practices & improvements
  • Grow the program via new customer acquisition strategies or promotion to existing customers
  • Retain and re engage current subscribers; continually monitor the health of subscribers and different segments within the SMS program
  • Own, develop, and continually optimize SMS journeys with an emphasis on automation, personalization, and targeted segmentation for optimal efficiency
  • Develop and own A/B testing roadmap and optimizations, at times in collaboration with the engineering team, for SMS and app marketing
  • Work closely with our SMS provider and engineering team for troubleshooting issues or testing new opportunities for both SMS and the app; manage vendor relationship
  • Partner with the email Marketing Manager, loyalty & promotions manager, and retail teams to support campaign efforts and seamlessly integrate these campaigns into Mobile Marketing
  • Partner with external and internal teams to develop and provide synthesized learnings
  • Understanding SMS & push's place within the conversion path & customer journey or funnel

What You'll Need
  • 2+ years of experience managing SMS and push, bonus for in-app content
  • Familiarity with a CDP (Customer Data Platform) including segment-building logic
  • Experience with app-specific tools (e.g. deeplinking), metrics and reporting; comfort and familiarity with various attribution models
  • Looker, Adobe Analytics, and GA4 (Google Analytics) experience including multiple attribution models and app-specific attribution
  • An innate understanding of complex scheduling strategies & geo-market needs
  • Highly metrics-driven with strong analytical abilities; Google Analytics experience
  • Experience working on cross-functional projects, supporting their success from start to finish
  • Strong understanding of existing and emerging Mobile Marketing best practices and technologies
  • Proven experience in testing methodologies, versioning, and personalization
  • A growth mindset with a track record of testing and learning to constantly improve
