We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President of Marketing to lead our marketing efforts and drive growth for our agency. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing comprehensive marketing strategies, leading a team of Marketing professionals, and executing campaigns to generate leads for our clients, particularly focusing on local businesses. This role requires a deep understanding of digital marketing, brand development, team leadership, and industry engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Developing Marketing Strategies:
- Create comprehensive marketing strategies tailored to clients' needs and goals.
- Utilize various digital marketing channels such as social media, email, content marketing, and PPC advertising.
- Innovate new ways to generate leads and appointments, including expansion to different platforms and channels.
- Team Leadership and Management:
- Oversee a team of Marketing professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and direction.
- Manage the entire marketing department and ensure successful execution of campaigns and initiatives.
- Campaign Planning and Execution:
- Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns from start to finish, including budget allocation, audience targeting, creative development, and performance tracking.
- Brand Development and Management:
- Lead efforts to develop and enhance the agency's brand identity, positioning, and messaging.
- Build online presence and manage reputation through content strategy and engagement.
- Business Development:
- Identify new client opportunities and pitch services to prospects.
- Explore ways to re-package services, upsell clients, and increase LTV while reducing churn.
- Client Acquisition and Retention:
- Oversee client acquisition initiatives, including lead generation and prospecting.
- Develop strategies for client retention to ensure long-term relationships and recurring business.
- Collaboration with Other Departments:
- Collaborate with sales, product development, and customer service teams to align marketing efforts with overall business goals.
- Ensure efficient communication and synergy between departments.
- Thought Leadership and Industry Engagement:
- Represent the agency as a thought leader in the industry through speaking engagements, industry events, and content creation.
- Stay updated with the latest marketing trends and best practices.
Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience in the Digital Marketing Agency Space with a Focus on Local Lead Generation
- Mastery of various digital marketing platforms, including but not limited to social media advertising (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn), search engine marketing (SEM), email marketing, content marketing, and PPC advertising.
- Ability to leverage each platform's unique features and functionalities to optimize campaign performance and achieve desired outcomes.
- Stay updated with the latest developments and innovations in digital marketing platforms and incorporate them into marketing strategies effectively.
- Proven track record in local lead generation campaigns targeting small businesses.
- Extensive experience in various digital marketing channels beyond paid ads, including content, email, and organic strategies.
- Proven Track Record in Building and Leading Marketing Departments
- Demonstrated experience in building and managing marketing departments from scratch.
- Ability to identify, vet, train, and develop team members effectively.
- Strong background in brand development and online presence building within the marketing agency context.
- Ability to craft and execute comprehensive content strategies across multiple platforms.
- Extensive Experience Building, Working, and Leading Remote Teams
- Previous success in building and leading remote marketing teams.
- Ability to foster team cohesion and productivity in a remote work environment.
- Proven ability to represent the agency as a thought leader through speaking engagements, industry events, and content creation.
- Active involvement in staying updated with the latest marketing trends and best practices.
