The Design Consultant will design and sell Smart Home automation systems including audio, video, lighting, voice/data, security, and control systems for high-end residences and some commercial spaces. You will be responsible for generating your own leads as well as closing sales on leads provided by Cinegration. The Design Consultant will work in the office and travel to job sites around the Denver area as well as homes in the mountains as needed. The Design Consultant will be responsible for creating and maintaining client relationships as well as accurately creating designs and proposals. The Design Consultant will work closely with the Project to complete jobs

- Understand fundamentals and wiring design specifications of system integration: A/V Distribution, Lighting Controls, Motorized Shading/Drapes, Residential/Business Networking, Security Alarm Systems, Surveillance, and Access Controls.
- Excellent communication skills
- Self-motivated, task-driven, and able to apply "best practices" theory
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to create custom Smart Home solutions
Develop and maintain proficiency in the following areas:
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Create integrated technology designs for high-end residential and commercial projects
- Create structured wiring design schematics, and proposals for custom residential/commercial projects.
- Work closely with the installation and operations team to prepare for approved projects.
- Work closely with clients; Builders, Architects, Interior Designers, and Homeowners to create integrated design plans, and manage proposals and sales updates
- Create designs with software: Adobe Illustrator or AutoCAD
- Ability to quickly learn about multiple home automation brands, software, and control systems (Control4, Lutron, Sonos, etc.)
- Ability to memorize standardized products and model numbers for Cinegration
- Must understand construction timeline and process for ongoing projects
- Ability to grow business through company referrals, client relationships, and "self-generated" business
- Must present themselves professionally on the job site, at client's homes, and on phone/video conferences
- Work closely with Cinegration C-Suite to deliver design/sales reports and updates
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Highly detailed, organized, and multitask driven
- Clean driving record and background check
- Minimum of 2-3 years •of A/V & Home Integration Design & Sales Experience
- Control4 and/or Lutron certification is desired
