What you can look forward to as a Smart Factory Technician:
- Analyze information systems for system weaknesses and abnormalities, and address as necessary.
- Overall, support to implement ZF Production Information Technology and Smart Factory policies, and projects to improve and secure information flow generated from operations in regional Division B plants.
- Identify and support execution of automation projects in product and information flow in regional plants
- Provide updates on Smart Factory state of the industry to regional leadership
- Improve collection methods of production related data to enable secure and useful cataloging to support continuous improvement and customer requirements.
- Participate in assessments of information technology security with outside organizations.
- Develop and execute projects to support ZF Production Systems Lean assessment in relation to information systems and automation.
- Organization of (multiple) country/region workshops within the Division to review performance, share best practices & lessons learned, provide updates on regulatory developments, etc.
- Act as key point of contact for Production Information Technology Security topics for regional Div B plants
- Share lessons learned, including corrective actions on divisional level and with the global team
Your Profile as a Smart Factory Technician:
- Degree or specific education in IT systems or industrial engineering or similar field
- Min. 5 years experience in operational environment with strong emphasis on information systems, automation
- Experience in Lean Manufacturing environment, problem solving processes
- Thorough working knowledge and understanding of shop floor management systems and production environment
- Results/process/problem solving – oriented with strong communication skills in English + at least one regional language
