Small Package Shipper

Position Summary:

As a Small Package Shipper, you will play an important part of the Outbound team by ensuring all Small Package outbound shipments are processed according to client and customer needs. This position will involve frequently lifting and moving boxes from 10lbs. to occasionally 50 lbs. and packing small boxes the entire shift.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Ensures outbound product are processed and shipped according to assigned carrier.
• Being able to use and navigate a computer and carrier software.
• Keeps work and storage areas in a safe, clean, and tidy condition at all times.
• Performs other duties as requested.

Qualifications:

• Experience with a warehouse management system (WMS) is preferred by not required.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Has the ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities
• Trustworthy and moral character (we use pre-employment background & drug tests).
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Must be 18 years or older to apply.
• Following AMSEC safety rules, safety procedures, security protocol and standard operating procedures (SOP).

Work place conditions:

The employee frequently is required to stand and reach with hands and arms. The employee will frequently use a computer keyboard, mouse, telephone. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and viewing a computer screen. The employee will be working in an warehouse environment and must be able to speak and hear on a telephone while other employees are also on calls.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
