Small Format Digital Press Operator

Job Description:

 We are looking for a Small Format Digital Press Operator with in-depth knowledge and proficiency on Small Format Digital print devices to join our Print Production Team at Phase 3 Marketing & Communications. The right candidate will have at least 3 years hands-on experience operating Small Format print equipment, experience on an Xerox iGen 5 and HP Indigo a plus.

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate our portfolio of Small Format Digital printing presses
• Read and interpret work orders for job production
• A keen eye to quality and detail. Monitoring jobs to ensure print quality and accuracy
• Troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance on equipment
• Ensure production goals are met

Job Requirements:

• 3+ years’ experience working on Small Format Digital Presses
• Fiery rip software knowledge
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to recognize and visually differentiate colors
• Detail-oriented and organized with an ability to prioritize work and minimize production downtime
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to learn quickly and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 30 lbs.
