As a Skin Care Consultant at Ulta Beauty, you have the uniquely rewarding opportunity to create meaningful guest experiences through your passion for skin health, product education, guest engagement, and glowing, luminous skin. You'll accomplish all of this by:

• Maximizing sales in the Skin Care category by ensuring each guest receives exceptional, personalized service
• Routinely performing Skin Care analysis and product demonstrations with guests to drive sales and the guest experience
• Providing professional recommendations for products and services
• Booking appointments for and supporting the execution of services and in-store events that deliver an unrivaled guest experience
• Taking the initiative to stay informed regarding new and existing industry trends, products, services, and ingredients to better serve guests
• Collaborating with managers and associates to help grow the business
• Participating in ongoing training to enable continuous professional development and drive Skin Care sales performance
• Driving sales by keeping assigned work areas replenished, signed, and faced and ensuring testers are available and maintained in compliance with hygiene standards
• Following all loss prevention best practices and compliance procedures
• Promoting Ulta Beauty loyalty and guest service programs

THE ESSENTIALS FOR SUCCESS
Qualified candidates will have one year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience. Additional requirements include:
Education

• High school diploma is preferred

Skills

• Demonstrates significant competency in sales, products, and services
• Demonstrates a passion for Skin Care, solution-oriented, products, and consultative selling
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to positively and proactively handle guest concerns and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills

SPECIAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Work a flexible schedule to include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Attend brand sponsored trainings

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Frequent mobility throughout the store and during shift
• Frequent bending, reaching, twisting during shift
• Continuous lifting and/or moving up to 10lbs during shift
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 lbs
• Continuous coordination and manipulation of objects during shift
