Skilled Seamstress

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Seamstress who is passionate about fashion and has a keen eye for detail. The ideal candidate will have significant experience working with a variety of fabrics and garments, especially prom dresses and wedding gowns. This role requires a blend of creativity and technical skill to ensure each piece is tailored to meet our high standards and clients' expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Alter and tailor prom dresses, wedding dresses, and casual clothing to fit clients' specifications.
• Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide consultations on alterations and customizations.
• Use a variety of sewing techniques and equipment to achieve high-quality finishes.
• Collaborate with designers and other team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Conduct fittings with clients, making adjustments as necessary to ensure the perfect fit.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and materials are properly stored.

Requirements:

• Proven professional experience as a Seamstress, with experience working on prom dresses, wedding dresses, and casual wear.
• Excellent tailoring skills, with the ability to work on intricate designs and delicate fabrics.
• Strong understanding of garment construction and alterations.
• Ability to work efficiently and quickly.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Flexibility to work additional hours during peak seasons

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

Work Location: In person
