Skilled Construction Labor

We are seeking to fill the following position General Laborer to become a part of our team!

Skilled Construction Laborer:

Responsibilities of Skilled Construction Laborer:

· Under supervision of the Construction Foreman, performs tasks involving physical labor at heavy construction projects.

· Ability to operate a variety of hand and power tools.

· Clean and prepare job sites, dig trenches, set braces to support the sides of excavations, clean up rubble and debris and remove waste materials.

· A laborer will be assigned to a variety of miscellaneous tasks for heavy construction of underground utilities.

· Jobsite Cleanup - Maintain a clean work environment, pick up all tools and equipment to secure job site each day to eliminate potential hazards.

· Follows direction of foreman to perform miscellaneous assigned tasks, including driving, digging, pulling, pushing, lifting, measuring, cutting, and reading prints/drawings.

Qualifications for Skilled Construction Laborer:

· Must have 3 years experience with underground construction/excavation

· Strong focus on safety, quality, accountability, integrity, and teamwork

· Ability to stand and exert physical effort performing manual labor most of the day.

· Ability to work in confined spaces.

· Knowledge of hand and power tools

· Good communication skills and the ability to interact in a team environment.

All Employees must meet the following criteria:

· Wear the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including hard hat, eye protection, reflective vest, gloves, and composite- toed boots.

· Reliable transportation

· Work requires moderate to heavy physical and manual skills.

· Extended hours may be required to meet project deadlines.

· Each employee must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.

· Must be able to work outside in the natural elements
