Skilled Barista

Sip-N-Sea Cafe is located in the beautiful Leucadia community in Encinitas! Just a few minutes away from Beacons, Grandview and Ponto Beach, we are a small coastal family-owned cafe specializing in coffee, smoothies/acai bowls and boba teas. Our shop is newly built with brand new equipment. We are looking for SKILLED part-time and full-time baristas with at least 2 years of experience as a barista and an open schedule availability. Our ideal barista has extensive experience in a specialty coffee shop and/or smoothie shop, a warm and welcoming personality, fine attention to detail, willingness to constantly learn, and able to work under pressure.

BETWEEN $6-$11 Per Hour in tips included with every shift

Requirements:

• Must be able to work weekdays and weekends
• Must be able to steam milk and perform latte art
• Must be friendly and personable. We are looking for people that work well under pressure in a fast paced environment, have a strong work ethic, and work well with others
• Capable of working on a manual espresso machine, and dial in the grinder frequently throughout the shift
• Must be local to our location with an easy commute

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
