We are in search of a Ski Lift Operator to join our Ski team at our 1,300 acre Grand Geneva Resort & Spa in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. Recognized as a Top Resort in the Midwest by Conde Nast Traveler, this award-winning, all-seasons destination features over 746 guest accommodations, the WELL Spa & Salon, two championship golf courses, fitness facilities, a ski hill and terrain park, and 9 unique food and beverage outlets.

About the role

A grand opportunity awaits as part of the Grand Geneva family as a Lift Operator: Operate chair lift equipment ensuring the safety of guests and associates at all times.

What will you be doing?

· Safely assist guests to board lift chair.

· Rotate Lift Operators out of positions when breaks are needed.

· Be mindful of lift operations to avoid accidents.

• Ensure safety of guests and associates at all times, and follow all safety policies and procedures.

· Fully understand all aspects of safe lift operations.

· Be able to tolerate extreme weather conditions.

· Must be willing to assist with a variety of duties in and around the chalet.

· Shovel snow as needed; Work in parking lot directing traffic as needed.

What do you bring to the role?

· Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

· High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required.

· No previous experience required.

· Must be 18 years of age.

· A positive attitude, good customer service and communication skills required.

· Must be safety minded; Enjoy working with the public.

· Take direction well; Mechanical aptitude.

· Be able to tolerate extreme weather conditions; Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

· Work in fast paced environment with some moving and lifting.

· Must be able to speak and understand English.

· Flexible schedule including but not limited to nights, weekends and holidays.
