Location: Hanford, WA |
Site Safety Representative Wage: $75,000-100,000 TBD
Duties/Responsibilities
- Assist in the safety planning of the work activities.
- Participate in field safety walk downs.
- Recommend, plan, and implement Company policy to establish and maintain a safe work environment
- Ensures compliance with appropriate federal and state safety and health regulations
- Provide safety leadership of the contractor’s craft, subcontractors and in the evaluation of occurrences.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Strong presentation skills.
- Proficient computer knowledge and skills, including but not limited to graph presentations.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to write reports and procedures.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Strong understanding of loss control fundamentals.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Team player.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor of Sciences in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent and 5-8 years in construction safety.
- CHST Certification preferred.
- Shall be familiar with and demonstrate experience with construction safety.
- Shall be familiar with near-miss and accident investigations to identify root causes, corrective actions, and draft incident reports.
- Previous work on US Dept Of Energy Complexes, Nuclear Experience.
