Job Summary:
In Systems Integration and Test (SI&T) we integrate, verify, and validate our products. We put our systems together, exercise them in the lab or in the field, measure and analyze performance, and make sure our products work the first time and every time. To accomplish this, we develop plans and procedures, debug and evaluate.
The Upper-Tier Missile Defense (UTMD) System Integration & Test (SI&T) Cross Product Team (CPT) Lead is responsible for all System Integration, Verification, and Sustainment activities across the UTMD programs, including AN/TPY-2, XBR, and KSA THAAD. These activities include, but are not limited to, execution and staffing of all SI&T efforts, Estimates at Completion (EACs), Directorate-level proposal reviews, future staffing projections and monthly tracking books. The SI&T efforts span development, growth, test, production, and sustainment programs for both domestic and foreign programs. The individual in this role also has UTMD SI&T Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead responsibilities which include cross-functional management of the cost, schedule and technical challenges associated with the integration of two or more major-end-items, including radar software, for the UTMD Production Programs through sell-off to the customer. This position is an onsite role at the Woburn, MA location.
Responsibilities to Anticipate:
- Manage the execution of all scope of work assigned to the SI&T CPT, determine the allocation of personnel within the team to perform that work, and review and approve any SI&T contract deliverables before delivery to the customer
- Manage the cost, schedule and technical scope associated with SI&T activities for UTMD Production Programs through sell-off to the customer
- Support program execution and growth through proposal development and the deployment and continuous improvement of people, processes, and tools
- Represent the interests of the Systems Integration and Test (SI&T) Discipline on the program.
- Responsible for developing a team capable of delivering products that include integration plans, integration information summaries, test plans, verification items, analysis scripts, test procedures and test reports.
- Extensive interaction with Program Managers, Business Development, Discipline Leads, Business Area VPs and the customer to achieve Business objectives.
- Responsible for interface and coordination with internal and external organizations on integration and test planning, coordination, execution and reporting activities.
- Identification, establishment and implementation of best practices and lessons learned.
- Oversight of applicable phases of the Gate process to maximize business performance
Basic Qualifications:
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics and twelve (12) years of prior experience in Systems Engineering and/or System Integration, Verification and Validation.
- Active U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Experience with system requirements sell-off.
- Experience working with customers to develop and execute program test strategies.
- 5+ years in technical and program leadership positions (IPT lead, CPT lead, Project Manager, Test Director, etc.)
- Experience in management of diverse engineering teams.
- Experience preparing both technical and cost proposals.
- EVMS Level 2 Certified and Cost Account Manager (CAM) experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Level 6 or higher PMX certification
- Experience with system sell-off, automated testing and automated analysis.
- Competitive Capture Volume lead or proposal lead experience
- Experience with DoD or similar major programs throughout the product lifecycle
