Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Field Supervisor to join our team. As a Field Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing various construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is a leadership role that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate with team members and clients.
Duties:
- Supervise and coordinate construction projects from start to finish
- Ensure adherence to project plans, specifications, and timelines
- Manage and allocate resources effectively
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any issues or concerns
- Provide guidance and support to field staff, including training and development opportunities
- Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project success
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, change orders, and safety records
- Implement and enforce safety protocols on job sites
Requirements:
- Proven experience in the construction industry as a Field Supervisor or similar role
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Solid understanding of reading schematics and blueprints
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to finding solutions
- Valid driver's license
Qualifications:
-Some experience preferred in either drywall or any other construction trade.
-Management, resource allocation, time allotment, computer/tech, and administrative skills.
-Hard-working, persistent, and willing and able to learn something new every day.
-Able to lift 25-50lbs regularly throughout the day.
