SalaryOTSL’s Artistic Department is seeking seasonal, part-time Van Drivers to shuttle visiting artists and seasonal staff to and from rehearsals, performances, and other events in a 15-passenger van.
Duties and Responsibilities
Shuttle Van Driver responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Using good judgment and safe driving skills while adhering to local, state, and federal traffic laws.
- Accurately reviewing the Shuttle Van schedule and performing the scheduled shuttle rides during their shift.
- Keeping a timely shuttle route.
- Monitoring Shuttle Van fuel levels and re-fueling the vehicle as needed.
- Maintaining communication with members of the Artistic Administration Department about the van schedule, shift schedule, etc.
Dates & Availability:
- Candidates must be available for from late April to the end of June.
- OTSL is seeking drivers to fill day, evening, and weekend shifts.
Hours & Compensation:
- $18 hourly rate
- Part-time, approximately 25-30 hours a week
Qualifications:
- Candidates must have a valid driver’s license.
- OTSL insurance regulations stipulate the driver be a minimum age of 25.
- Experience driving a 12 or 15-passenger van is preferred, but not required.
- All applicants must pass a background and driving record test.
