As a Pest Control Technician, you will complete our award-winning, paid training to learn the skills required to be successful in the daily operation of a Pest Control service route. As a representative of our service team, you will build relationships with our customers, perform Pest Control related functions, and schedule and run your own route!
You Will…
- Serve as a problem solver for your customers by combining the in-depth training provided and attention to detail to decide on the most efficient and best overall pest solution for each customer's needs
- Communicate with customers to ensure satisfaction and practice customer service skills by discussing additional services that meet customer needs for a complete pest management program
- Follow a route schedule within assigned territory, allow flexibility with customer and weather-related factors and ensure timely and safe arrival at each customer’s home
- Operate a company vehicle safely and ensure cleanliness of the vehicle and equipment
- Complete all required service-related documentation and leverage your hand-held device provided for speed and accuracy

As a Pest Control Technicianat SHS Pest Control Corporation, you must possess the following skills/requirements:
- No Experience Required!
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be 18 years or older to apply
- Valid driver’s license with good driving record
- Ability to pass a drug screen
Physical Demands / Working Environment:
You must meet physical job requirements and safely perform the job duties with or without accommodation:
- Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer's weight capacity
- Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, roof tops, etc.
- Ability to work in all types of weather conditions
- Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment (company paid)
- Ability to work in the field independently and manage route-based assignments.
