Our clientele at Color Atelier ranges from architects, designers, and contractors, to design-savvy shoppers, homeowners, and DIYers.
We are looking for a Sample Maker to join our showroom team. This is a great junior / entry level opportunity to be hands-on and learn about the product side of design, and color.
This position is based out of Color Atelier's San Francisco Flagship Showroom, in the heart of vibrant Mission District, close to Bart and Muni. The environment is fun, design-oriented, and creative! Great location with lots of shops, and restaurants around. Also short walking distance to muni and bart stations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create paint color charts, and fan decks by hand painting color brush-outs.
- Organize product samples.
- Assist with inventory, and stock items.
- Assist with getting our online orders ready for shipping.
- Maintain an organized, safe and clean showroom.
- Serve as a production backup when needed.
- Assist with day to day operations of the showroom.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Organized, enthusiastic, punctual, reliable and all around great attitude.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Good handwriting.
- Any combination of education, training or general experience that would provide the required skill and knowledge base sufficient for job performance.
- Computer basics.
- Experience, Education and / or interest in Art, Architecture, Interior design, Paint, Colors and Design Materials, Customer Service are BONUS.
- Product handling (up to 30 lbs).
- Will train.
Job Type: 20 to 40 hours per week.
Potential for full time and a pay raise.
Hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, between 9 a.m. to 5 p.m
