Summer is here and the Bozeman Public Library is now recruiting for Short Term Workers for the Children's Library! We are looking for candidates who can commit to assisting in the Children's Room from late May - early August.
Must have experience in some of the following areas:
- Experience working with the public and/or customer service; experience working with diverse populations
- Experience working with infants, toddlers, elementary school-aged children, tweens, and/or teens
- Experience working with groups of youth (0-18)
- Library and/or education experience and training
- Experience working as part of a team in a dynamic, busy environment
- Experience with science, art, handicrafts, DIY, youth literature, and/or storytelling
Ideal candidates will be able to work independently and as part of a team, respect and enjoy youth, and not be afraid of messy art and science projects.
- Must be of legal age to perform the duties of the position;
- Some experience working with children is required;
- Experience with children's programming is desired, but not required.
