Job Overview:

Join our Sales and Marketing Team at West Indies Vacation Rentals as a Portfolio Development Manager, where you'll spearhead the expansion of our property portfolio across Puerto Rico. As a key member of our team, you'll play a pivotal role in driving sales growth and establishing lasting relationships with property owners. If you're a proactive sales professional with a passion for the vacation rental industry, we want you to be part of our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales and Owner Relations: Promote and sell West Indies' property management services by showcasing their value proposition to prospective property owners. Respond promptly to owner inquiries, provide comprehensive information, and secure agreements through effective negotiation and relationship-building.
• Property Preparation Guidance: Guide property owners through the pre-management preparation process, outlining necessary tasks and assisting as needed to ensure properties meet our standards. Offer support and follow-up to ensure seamless onboarding.
• Photo Shoot Coordination: Coordinate property photo shoots, ensuring properties are professionally staged and presented. Collaborate with photographers to capture high-quality images that showcase the unique features of each property.
• Self Check-In Implementation: Develop and implement self-check-in procedures for guests and team members using electronic locks, enhancing convenience and efficiency in property management operations.
• Handoff to Property Management: Upload property and owner information into our management systems and facilitate a smooth transition to our Property Management Team, ensuring properties are ready to accept bookings.

Reports to: Director of Sales and Marketing

Location: San Juan greater metropolitan area, with travel required between Arecibo and Humacao.

Requirements:

• Previous sales experience required.
• Interior design or decoration experience preferred.
• Tech-savvy with excellent organizational skills.
• Fully fluent in English and Spanish, with excellent writing skills in both languages.
• Strong interpersonal skills and availability to work weekends.
• Ability to work independently, multitask, and manage time effectively.
• Fast-paced worker with flexibility to take on diverse projects.
• Bachelor’s Degree required.
