Who We’re Looking For

A local team member who can perform all duties related to accounting for a growing vacation rental management company. Accounting experience is strongly preferred, but we are willing to train someone with the right attitude! The right candidate will be technologically competent, as this job requires the use of multiple online systems/devices at once. You must be willing and able to meet in person until there is a mutual understanding of the position and fit.

What You’ll Do

• Maintain strict confidentiality of all information

• Process and maintain accounting records pertaining to rental homes, business operations, employees and service partners

• Prepare financial reports needed by management team
• Reconcile financial statements/invoices

• Perform data entry
• Effectively communicate with clients, contractors
• Be versatile. No two days are the same in this business. We operate in a fast-paced, client-driven environment.

• Other responsibilities, as determined. 979 Vacation Property Services is a team. All team members are in customer service, first. This is an accounting-focused job, but we are in the customer service business. If there is an opportunity to solve/assist in solving an issue, all team members are expected to jump at that opportunity.

Experience

• Customer Service: 1+ year (required)
• Experience with Microsoft Excel
• Accounting: 1+ year (strongly preferred)
• Property Management: 1 year (preferred, but not required)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $37,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year
