Shop Janitor- Part Time

What you will be doing
Under General Direction, perform a variety of custodial assignments to maintain cleanliness of facilities.
What you need to succeed (Skills)

• Adhering to all company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
• Cleaning and maintaining Service Shop and surrounding areas, floors, walls and drains.
• Using all chemicals properly in the correct quantities for safety and cost control.
• Manages the disposal of all trash in shop and at all entrances.
• Responsible for maintenance storage areas and cleanliness.
• Inspecting shop equipment for operating condition.
• Routinely drains and discards used fluids from oil and coolant pans.
• Punctually mopping and or removing any spilled fluids and dispose of following safety guide lines.
• Perform additional duties from supervisor instructions as needed to provide support of Technicians.
• Sweep and scrub shop bays with floor scrubber.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
• Physical ability to do the required work
• Ability to communicate in English
• Must be disciplined and self-motivated
• Follows dress code guidelines, looking neat, clean and professional at all times
• Work in noisy, fast paced environment with distracting conditions
• Read and write handwritten notes
• Lift and carry up to 30 pounds
• Move about facility and stand for long periods of time
• Walk or stand 100% of shift
• Reach, bend, stoop, mop, sweep and wipe frequently
