Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments
- Verify the accuracy of received items against purchase orders or invoices
- Unload, unpack, and properly store incoming materials in designated areas
- Update inventory records and maintain accurate stock levels
- Prepare and package outgoing shipments according to shipping instructions
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a receiving or warehouse environment preferred
- Basic math skills for inventory management and order verification
- Knowledge of order picking, packing, and fulfillment processes
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with team members and vendors
